"You are patronizing me! Asking me questions like it's some kind of study or therapy session. Do you really think I didn't get the risks?" she had the open bottle on the counter, leaning on it with both hands. "It isn't like I went into that thinking it would be perfectly fine and I didn't bring anyone else into it with me. That's a ridiculous question. If someone had been hurt, then yes, I'd have something to regret, but no one did. So don't look at me like that. Like I'm young and don't think about my actions. I know what my actions have done! They've killed other people before!"
Okay, that rant stopped being about this mission a while ago. She swallowed, blinking rapidly and standing up straight, taking a drink from the water.
