Jan. 14th, 2013 12:44 pmThis was a good way to start a job. Just... awesome. It was always a good sign when the intel you had indicated that the target was completely unaware of the Organization and their movements. The target operated alone. The target had no reason to be suspicious.
One broken wrist, a dislocated shoulder and a few nasty bruises to her face later, Quinn realized that hey! This guy totally knew they were after him. Awesome. She had to try and dodge an axe that the guy threw from a shed. She wasn't super stoked about that, but when he turned to grab something else she didn't have eye contact to get a hold of him, well, touch would have to do. That was how she ended up with her shoulder wrenched behind her back, shoulder jutted out unnaturally and her wrist snapped. It didn't feel good.
Now she was being treated, injuries not substantial enough to be considered an emergency, but she would argue otherwise. The bruise across her left cheekbone where she'd been elbowed upon her first offensive attack was radiating through her skull while her shoulder and arm felt dead. The longer it stayed out the worse it would get and she was tempted to pop it back in herself.
Eventually they got her in a room and started treating her, x-rays and such, but she was laying around in a bed in a room, still having not seen a doctor yet.
