She'd only migrated just outside onto the balcony again. She was sitting, legs curled up on the chair and staring out at the view, eyes vacant. She did this a lot lately. She used to do that all the time when she was in a group home. Nothing worked and nothing felt right, so she spent all her time staring, mind wandering through nothing. It was miserable, quite frankly.
